During a job (side job or full job), did someone ever react negative towards you because of personal reasons instead of professional reasons?

Because I am curious about how often this occurs. I'm just really flabbergasted at the moment how often people at work get mad at others for non-professional reasons, such as jealousy, or because they simply don't like someone for whatever reason.
